Windows have many tool which are in built but the user din't know about it ....here some tips for windows user for saving power .W7 include hidden built in function will notice the laptops energy consumption and help you to improve the performance of the battery ....
step 1: run the cmd (command promote as the administrator in your computer .to start it first open the cmd in your computer by typing cmd in search box .then choose the "run as the administrator"
step 2:at the command line type the following commands on it given below
powercfg-energy-output\Energy\Energy_report.html
then the folder shows the were you want to report
step 3: then windows 7 will examine the behavior of the laptop.it will then analyse the report of the HTML format in the folder you specified .double click on the file and then you will be reported
step 4:follow the recommendations and then do as it says...
NOTE:it only works on windows seven laptops
